Ushers and Greeters

The ushering and greeting ministry of our church is an important ministry as these volunteers are the "first contact" to regular attendees and visitors, and are responsible for making them feel at home and providing information and directions.

Our Greeters are also responsible for 'set-up' before the service.  The Greeters hand out the bulletin and hymn books etc. required for that particular service.  The arrangement depends on whether we are having a BCP Service, Lutheran or an Iona Service. I

Much is expected of our ushers and greeters.  Like Martha, they are busy with many things; but like Mary, they have chosen the better part - serving God's people with generosity and kindness.
