Education

This parish has taken seriously the commitment to continue on our pilgrimage together, knowing more and more about our Christian history and theology and at the same time opening up to new possibilities and interpretations.

Over the past few years we have offered three discussion/DVD programs from Living the Question. The content has ranged from an overview of the current challenges we face as Christians; reviewing Paul‟s missionary efforts and most recently John Dominic Crossan and Marcus Borg‟s exploring the scripture with fresh eyes to become part of co-creating God's Kingdom on earth.

We have sponsored notable Christian Theologians such as Dr. Sallie McFague (VST), Rev. Dr. Bill Crockett and Rev. Dr. Richard Leggett who have offered workshops for us as well.

Many of our parishioners are active with the local Ecumenical Society and have gained by participating in their programs.

Several of our members have attended workshops held by our Diocesan Staff and taken Summer Session courses at the Vancouver School of Theology.

There have been a number of Bible Study programs that the laity have led very successfully.
